 - an innovative and high-tech entrepreneurial company that has developed a poison-free method for pest-control, Cryonite®.

The initial idea for this unique method of pest control - elemination of insects and their eggs through freezing instead of poison - was concieved by Per-Åke Hallberg, M.Sc, and biologist Bertil Eliasson, B.Sc, in 1996.
Cryonite is covered by extensive patent protection and the company owns all the intellectual property related to the technology.

CTS Technologies validated the technology for several years together with its partner Anticimex, a leading European pest-control company. ISS Europe and Ecolab UK, market leaders in their respective areas, have also tested the technology in the developing phase. The good results indicated that Cryonite was at least as efficient as pesticides in many applications within and outside food processing industries.

Apart from the PCO industry, CTS Technologies has found that Cryonite also can be a useful tool for direct-use customers, such as hotel, food processing industries, cleaning companies, restaurants, grocery stores etc.

CTS Technologies are establishing further win-win co-operations/partnerships with leading companies and individuals within the pest control sector: distributors, pest control companies, and cleaning companies - throughout the world.
